A few magazine assignments I shot in March and April were recently published and I thought I’d share the tearsheets and a few outtakes here (seeing as how I haven’t updated my blog for way too long!)

This first one was shot for Tiger Airways magazine and took me to the Mekong Delta for a day or so to explore the local colors and livelihoods.

A big thanks to Khoi at Water Buffalo Tours for all the logistics and endless local insight!

And a few other images I liked that didn’t make the publishing cut.

Give it a read here from page 71 if you like.

This one was commissioned by Etihad Airways Atlas magazine. We were looking at some of Saigon’s aged and French colonial architecture, and how too many famed buildings are being knocked down and replaced by soulless glass and steel structures. A crying shame really….

And a few other outtakes I liked…

A sister walks into afternoon mass at the Lovers of the Holy Cross Convent in Saigon’s district 2, just across the river from downtown. It may be yet another on the list of aged and beautiful buildings to fall victim to progress in the not so distant future. Image by @quinnryanmattingly (Quinn Ryan Mattingly)

Read it here from page 77 if you’re so inclined!

That’s it for now. I’ll post a few more when they come out.
