Great journalism by talented writers is only made stronger with powerful visuals that can help the audience fully envision and connect with the subjects of the story. This is the role of an editorial photographer and photojournalist. This genre of photography is what first drew me into the profession, with a passion for meeting people, listening to their stories, and relaying them to my personal viewers or the readers of the publications that have assigned me the stories. There are few times I’m happier than when I’m in the field with only my camera and a story to be told.
