Given that I live on the other side of the planet, and that it’s one of my favorite places in the world, I count myself as pretty lucky for being able to visit New York City in both 2011 and 2012. Two years ago (I’m still getting used to 2013), I was there for the Eddie Adams Workshop in upstate, but also got to spend a few days checking out the big city. And just last year, which also also just a month ago (seems like a lot longer), my girlfriend and I spent a few days there between Christmas and New Year taking in some of the sites on her first visit. Somehow, I think I just ended up being her personal photographer for facebook photos for the whole year to come, but I did also grab a few shots just for me when I saw something I liked. Not much further rambling is needed, so below are a few frames I made in a cold NY December, and hopes of getting back again toward the end of this year.

The previous post has a few frames shot on film as well if you’d like to check it out.
